I am Carey Rankin and I am the manager of Kate's Diner. I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida and currently live in St. Petersburg. After I completed my Bachelor's at the University of South Florida and my Graduate from the University of West Florida, I decided to join forces with the Greene's and bring their family recipes to your neighborhood. My mission is to keep their traditions alive by bringing Kate's Diner to the modern forefront. This way it will continue it's legacy.
This business was founded by Bob “Buffalo” and Evy Greene, over 50 years ago. They’ve had many different food and novelty trailers, including a spider show, Native American Jewelry, cotton candy, elephant ears, and even a taco trailer.
Their sons Brad Greene and Bobby Greene followed in their footsteps and continue to successfully operate their own trailers. Brad has been in the business 35 years and does not plan on retiring anytime soon! He sells elephant ears, pizza, sausage, and strawberry shortcake.
